Recent work

This gallery offers a glimpse into my actual studio practice by displaying recently completed work. I usually work on only one significant piece at a time, composing sections on the design wall, taking them to the sewing machine, returning them to the design wall to add/subtract/rearrange elements until I’m satisfied. At the same time I may be auditioning ideas for the next large composition by cutting and sewing a small piece. And I may be sewing up scraps to make a mini quilt. (And always, although you won’t see them in this gallery, there are piles of work waiting for hand finishing.)
